What is PVD gold plating?
PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) is a plating process that bonds gold to metal under vacuum at high energy. Unlike traditional electroplating, which dips jewelry in a chemical bath and wears off quickly, PVD creates a harder, denser layer that resists water, sweat, and daily wear for years — not weeks.
Is Orecelia jewelry really waterproof?
Yes. Every piece is made with 316L stainless steel and 18k PVD gold plating. You can wear it in the shower, at the pool, at the gym, and at the beach. We recommend a quick rinse with fresh water after saltwater or chlorine exposure to keep it looking its best.
Will it turn my skin green?
No. 316L stainless steel is surgical-grade and hypoallergenic. It does not react with skin, even for people with metal sensitivities. There is no copper or nickel in contact with your skin.
What size is The Embrace Ring?
The Embrace Ring is fully adjustable — it fits all finger sizes comfortably. No need to measure or guess.
What messages are available for The Whisper Pendant?
The Whisper Pendant comes in three engraved messages: "loved", "darling", and "to the one I love". Choose your message at checkout. Each one is permanently engraved — it won't fade, wash off, or rub out.
Does my order come with a message card?
Yes. Every Orecelia piece comes with a handwritten-style message card and a blank space on the back for you to add your own personal words before gifting.
How long does shipping take?
We offer free shipping on all orders across Canada and the United States — no minimum, no surprises. Canada: Standard shipping takes 5–10 business days. United States: Standard shipping takes 7–15 business days. Orders under $800 USD enter duty-free — no surprise fees at your door. You'll receive a tracking number as soon as your order ships.
What is your return policy?
We offer a 30-day return policy. If you're not happy with your purchase, contact us within 30 days of receiving your order and we'll make it right. The item must be unworn and in its original packaging. Note: engraved/personalized items cannot be returned for spelling errors — please double-check before ordering.
How should I care for my jewelry?
Rinse with fresh water after the beach or pool. Avoid spraying perfume directly on your jewelry — spray first, then put it on. Store your pieces flat, in a pouch, or hanging separately to avoid scratches. That's it — PVD jewelry is low-maintenance by design.
